Collection: Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia accounting for 60 to 80 percent of the diagnosed cases of dementia. It is a progressive disease that affects a person's memory and ability to perform day to day tasks. 6.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million. While there is currently no cure for Alzheimer's disease, there are many treatments that target the symptoms of the disease. On average, a person with Alzheimer's lives 4 to 8 years after diagnosis but can live as long as 20 years, depending on other factors.

SupportStore.com is committed to doing our part to help start the conversations that need to happen to bring awareness to Alzheimer's disease and inspire action and the search for a cure.
